We are Recruiting!
Soap Soup Theatre CIC Director Call-out (Voluntary position)
Soap Soup Theatre CIC are proud makers of innovative theatre and creative experiences for children, young people, and their families, led by founder and Creative Director/Producer Tomasin Cuthbert. For the past 15 years we have welcomed over 30,000 audience members to our shows and workshops, raised £250k in arts funding and provided employment opportunities for over 70 artists.
We incorporated as a CIC in 2023, so that we could focus our work into serving the community better. As a CIC, we operate as a business, but are not-for-profit and our focus is social value. As a CIC we can access funding through Trusts and Foundations, but whereas Charities are subject to stricter governance requirements from the Charity Commission, CICs have a lighter touch of regulation from the CIC Regulator. You can read more about us and our previous work on our website https://www.soapsouptheatre.com/
